1. Cut and piece the backing fabric so it measures 6" to 8" larger than the quilt top in both directions.
2. Quilt as desired. I had an amazing design in my head of how to finish this quilt with tons of quilted circles, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it until I saw an incredible computerized design. It was perfect and the quilted circles soften the geometric appearance of the quilt.
3. Use the 2¼"-wide binding strips to bind the quilt.
